Legoland Paradise on Earth for Kids! 10 - Reasons why to go there.

We have been to all the famous parks in Orlando Florida, Disneyworld’s Magic Kindom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, typhoon Lagoon, Blizard beach, Sea World, Wet and Wild, Bush Gardens, Universal Studios, Island of Adventure and some smaller ones too. But we had never been to Legoland!

Like all kids, our oldest one has stages of falling in love with different movie characters. This year (2017) his passion was The LEGO Batman movie.

Natuarally when we asked him “what do you want for your birthday?” he said a trip to “Legoland”. He had learned of the park from YouTube and other internet sites! We contacted Legoland to see if they were willing to host us and they said yes!

Quickly our excitement grew bigger and bigger, to the point that we created our very own LEGO version of ourselves (pic above). Here is a list of why we love this park over many others.

1- The lines for the rides are super fast and short. The most popular rides like the 3D Ninjago adventure are only 25 to 30 mins long. Everything else is 5 mins and 10 mins (This was on a holiday week, most busy time)

2- While you wait in line, your kids can actually play with legos and get entertained at different stations along the line.

3- kids of all ages can ride any ride as long as they are with an adult. No kid will be left out of a ride. The roller coasters were built in a way that every kid can ride. This is very important for us because our little one is short for his age. This was the firsts time he was able to ride in EVERYTHING! His face was priceless!

4- Their food options are great and they have packages like $40 for a family of four. It brings so much food, you are most likely to not eat it all.

5- The staff is very friendly and helpful. As first timers we had a million questions and they answered them all.

6- Kids could get their own driver’s license after taking a driving test! OMG this was fun, we were screaming from the sidelines for them to drive properly lol. To this day, our little ones have it and they show it to their cousins all the time. They feel proud lol.

7- They have shows and exhibitions all around LEGO figures. Amazing creations that will leave you speechless.

8- Both the LEGO hotel and the Beach retreat are excellent options to stay at. The hotel is right next to the entrance of the park and the beach retreat is a five minute bus ride away. The beach one is made up of small bungalows around a lake.

9- Both hotels have amazing pools, designed for kids to have a blast and feel like they own the place. They provide, towels, pool toys, food service, ice cream and more.

10- All rooms are decorated with lego themes and the best; Kids get a separate smaller room with bunk beds! OMG our little ones were screaming of excitement when they walked into the room and saw it.

They will arrange cakes and utensils to celebrate any occasion at the hotels. Just amazing!

We left with the kids wanting to return! All the family members that traveled with us, left feeling that they each had enjoyed something! And our little one said that he wants to return for his birthday... So, see you soon Legoland.

Prices are:

$100 per adult and $93 per kids at the gate. But there are always discounts.

Same with Hotel prices, they vary depending on time of the year, but they are affordable.
